The (wet) concrete surface of the Belmont Road near Hawthornden Drive. The photograph shows the joints between the concrete sections and the long patch where utilities have been laid. The granite kerb (bottom) is a common feature of Belfast. The kerbstones are often retained and reused even after widening. See also Image (June 2013).
