Uncharacteristically for Northumberland there are a couple of brick interlopers here. The large house on the end is the early-C19th General Lambert's House. Grade II* listed. At the time of the photo it was for sale: "in need of total refurbishment, but would make excellent apartments, hotel or a large town house (or two)".
