The ancient earthwork of Grim's Ditch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grim%27s_Ditch_(Chilterns) runs in a straight line next to the slightly more meandering Icknield Way LDP at this point. The view here is at a point on the edge of Wick Wood looking along a fenced field boundary. The fields presumably belong to Kiln Farm which can be glimpsed in the background.
