The cycle path leads from The Quay in Sandwich beside the river before heading to Sandown Road (leading to Deal). The footbridge on the left (leading over the Vigo Sprong - a spur of the River Stour) takes the Stour Valley Walk and Saxon Shore Way (long distance paths)
