This building was originally built in the 19th Century to house the fire engine. It was extended in the 1960s to become a branch of Barclays Bank. It is currently the library (believed to be Suffolk's smallest library) but in April 2011 it is under threat of closure. http://www.eadt.co.uk/news/gallery_protests_over_cuts_to_stowmarket_and_debenham_libraries_1_835649
