The house nearest the camera is Bank Point Cottage, which stands on a narrow, wedge-shaped plot in the angle between Jackson's Lane and Southwood Lane. The building is Grade II Listed - the listing text giving the date as early 18th century. The unusual projection over the porch is later, said to be mid 19th century.
