Not every part of a long distance path is inviting. This is the Saxon Shore Way as it heads east out of Gravesend, just after crossing the Canal Basin. You cannot hear the barking dogs in this photograph but the viewer can certainly get the general picture of dereliction. The route goes straight ahead to the far end before turning right and left to continue.
