This viewing tower and cafe facility for observing construction of the 2012 Olympic site was built sometime between my previous visit to the area in May 2009, and Julian Osley's visit in June 2010 Image As a result of its construction the cycle route has been diverted via the railway underpass at Marshgate Lane Image
