Interestingly in the 1891 Census the pub is called the Bulls Head, but in the 1901 Census it is the Old Bulls Head. Further along the road was the Big Bulls Head, which still exists today under that name. This must have caused some confusion! There were in Victorian times even more pubs around here, than there are today. Image Image
