This view of the substantial property was obtained from the public highway. There is some evidence of dyslexia on the part of the Ordnance Survey officer who annotated the 1:25K map where the house is marked as Poolsands House. However, both the Valuation Office and Royal Mail use the name as in the title so it's two to one in favour of Sandpool House being the correct name.
