Flood defence at entrance to Erith Deep Wharf

Erith Deep Wharf, originally built for industrial purposes, was converted for pedestrian use as planning gain for the building of Morrisons nearby. This building houses a gate which can be slid across the access to the pier when there is a risk of flooding.
