An interesting row of cottages in the main street of the village. Notice the remains of the dovecote built into the eaves of the nearest cottage. The unusual name of the cottage mentioned in the title was that displayed above the doorway when the photograph was taken. From more recent views it seems that a missing "C" has now been reinstated or repainted resulting in the sign showing the more conventional name of "Porch Cottage"!
