This stylish stone portico in Castle Gates is the former entrance to Blower's Repository and it has the name proudly displayed above the arch. It is Grade II listed http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-455422-library-former-blower-s-repository-shrew and now provides access to the modern Shropshire Archives building. The building next door is the county Reference Library. Also there is a bench mark just to the left of the door in the wall Image
