Head south back down West Drive then east down Park Hill then south into Tillstone Street. Another result of a slum clearance this street was erected in 1898 on the site of Spa and Egremont Streets. The newer houses to the right were added in the 1960s when Pilgrim Cottages, a row of almshouses constructed in 1852 in Spa Street, were finally demolished having survived the original clearance.
