View westward, towards London; ex-Great Eastern London Liverpool Street - Colchester etc. main line. LNE B12/3 4-6-0 No. 61555 on the 13.36 Liverpool Street - Clacton-on-Sea buffet-car express has passed Brentwood & Warley station and is going fine near the summit at Ingrave of the four miles at 1-in-103 from Harold Wood. At the time, the electrification reached only to Shenfield & Hutton.
