Looking north across Sheen Road. On the far side of the quadrangle is the almshouses' chapel - its bell-turret just visible in this shot. Hickey's Almshouses are architecturally rather fanciful, with 'Hampton Court' touches, but they lack colour. The Church Estate almshouses next door (just west) are much more colourful http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2316683. William Hickey's endowment dates from 1728, but none of the present buildings date from earlier than 1834.
