Partington Oil Terminal and Manchester Ship Canal

This oil terminal is situated on the south bank of the Manchester Ship Canal. The canal is the major feature of this square and has developed a large population of swans now large, ocean-going vessels use the canal less frequently following the closure of Salford and Manchester Docks.
