17th century pub on Marford Road. It was originally a farmhouse, Hornbeam Hall, becoming a pub, The Chequers, in 1756. It received its present name in 1968. Grade II listed - for listing particulars see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1100995.
