Head south from Gloucester Road down Kensington Street then turn east into North Road. A major arterial road in the centre of town and when built up from 1810 the northern limit of the town. Once an important shopping centre for the local community but now just bypassed by the traffic. The Foam Shop inhabits an old pub called the Red Lion, next door is Bills an organic fruit and veg market built in an old garage, the lime green building near the bottom of the street is a former cinema that operated between 1911-39.
