Like so many other structures of its type in Orkney, this building was purchased after the Second World War and brought from the airfield - possibly Twatt http://www.controltowers.co.uk/T-V/Twatt.htm to be used as a cowshed on this farm. Another nearby hangar, of a different design, has a similar origin. Here Image
