Looking eastwards from Sheringham Station

This is the view eastwards from the National Rail station at Sheringham. This is one of the last remaining sections of the old Midland and Great Northern Railway still in use as part of the national network. The two circular signs are speed limit warnings - the 55 SP displays the speed limit for Sprinter Diesel Multiple Units, while the 30 is the speed limit for other types of traction. The yellow sign with the black 'T' indicates the end of the temporary speed limit. This line has recently been connected to the preserved North Norfolk Railway and this sign indicates the end of the speed limit over the tramway crossing connecting the two.
