Head north along Kensington Place until you reach Trafalgar Street then look north. This road links the station with York Place and was developed, particularly at the western end after the arrival of the railway in 1841. The station's entrance was initially to the west but proved inadequate so a bridge was built over the western end of the street and is visible at the top of the photograph.
