Located in the SE corner of the hospital grounds, near the main entrance from Cardiff Road. The plaque at the top http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2306429 marks the hospital's centenary in 2001. The lower two plaques date from the opening of the hospital in 1901 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2306450 and the laying of the foundation stone in 1897. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2306445
