The Eltham Centre

A local government centre opened by Greenwich Council in 2008 on Archery Road off Eltham High Street. It includes a new public library to replace the old one on the High Street, a swimming pool and other leisure facilities, an enquiries desk and payment facility for local government services, and a cafe. Part of the new centre stands on "Sun Yard" a former Council depot closed in 1999 [source: a web page of the Eltham Society, since removed]
