Narrow bridge in Priory Road Dartford

This appears to be the original bridge and traffic usually negotiates the narrow gap, giving way when necessary. There are plenty of warning signs about the height and width. The wall on the left belongs to the former Dartford Priory. Dartford was the location of England’s only house of Dominican nuns. Nothing remains of the priory today, apart from sections of the solid stone boundary walls that enclosed the priory site. For the view from the other direction see www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7378454
