This sign is located on the exterior wall of the Great Hall of Croydon Palace. For those who think that Croydon is 'modern'; history is there, just hard to find. The tour is well worth the admission fee, which included a cream tea on each of my visits. Queen Elizabeth I was entertained at Croydon Palace.
