Two of a series of four stained glass windows in Binton church depicting the ill-fated Captain Scott expedition to the South Pole in 1912. The first window shows the party saying farewell as they sent out on their expedition. The second picture shows their disappointment upon reaching the pole only to discover Amundsen had beaten them to it. The connection with Binton is that Captain Scott was married to Kathleen Bruce, sister of the Reverend Lloyd Harvey Bruce, Binton's rector 1906–24.
