Bit by bit the new houses are being built on the site of the former Battle of Britain public house, demolished in April 2008. These on the left are on the old car park. The old wooden fence marks the boundary of the site. Some have already been sold. The one by the far orange barriers is available for £175,000. Please refer to many other images in the square. Image The sales blurb enthuses, "An outstanding new development currently being constructed by Tatton Hall Homes in an established and favoured area within easy reach of all local facilities, the City Centre and excellent schooling. The 9, three bedroom houses have been designed in a fine, contemporary specification and will benefit from a superb level of specification throughout including high insulation levels, UPVC double glazing including 'open and tilt' windows upstairs, gas CH, fashionable kitchen and bathroom fittings and all with private parking."
