Located at 8 Newport Road, on the corner of Coronation Street. The post office is closed for the weekend. The rectangular space in the shutter is for access to the cash machine. Convenient for the general public, but a slight annoyance to a photographer. In addition to timing this shot to avoid vehicles passing on a busy road, I also had to wait for there not to be anyone using the cash machine, in case I was reported as 'some bloke acting suspiciously near a cash machine' or some such misinterpretation of my presence.
