Gaer Baptist Church being used as a polling station for the referendum on whether greater law making powers be given to the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff. For Wales overall there was a 35.4% turnout with a 63.5% Yes vote. Newport had a 27.8% turnout with a 54.8% Yes vote.
