The white fronted building was built in 1876 and is named Exchange Building http://hydedailyphoto.blogspot.com/2007/10/exchange-building-1876-gone-for-burton.html It used to be the local branch of Montague Burtons for many years. It then became the Bridal Warehouse http://hydedailyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/04/bridal-gowns-and-gasmen.html but that didn't last long and it has now opened as Luxury Linens.
