In scenes such as this the large numbers of roadside and hedgerow trees, mostly oaks, blend to create an impression of woodland closing the view. The distant brick building is probably Nuthurst Farm in Image The developing crop looks like oilseed rape, photographed over the hedge opposite Mows Hill Cottage.
