The two coach train is travelling north west; it has passed through Chinley and is heading for New Mills, then on to Stockport and Manchester.There are actually two railway lines running parallel to one another at this point; the one nearest to the camera is out of sight; this line comes from Buxton, and runs close to the Peak Forest Canal.
