This sign, on the exit from the roundabout in Image, is unusual in two respects. Firstly there is no mention of the road number of this road (the A296 Watling Street, which surely justifies a mention). But more significantly, the 255 in brackets should read B255, this being the road the A296 meets at the next junction, leading, as it indicates, to Bean and the Bluewater shopping centre. In the background is Darenth Valley Hospital.
