A substantial mid-Georgian house of red brick with stone dressings (including stringcourses) which seems to be the norm in Devizes. The bay on the right is later. It was a coaching inn in the 1770s, later it served as the judge's official residence (it lies opposite the former Assize Court Image]) and is currently solicitors' offices. Grade II* listed.
