Early C18th - see the hipped roof and equal-sized windows. The glazing bars could be original. Fine railings and surrounding gate piers too - the ensemble might be the reason for the highest listed status. Grade I listed. The problem of an even number of bays is apparent - how to place the door symmetrically. Visible on the right is part of a late-C18th stable block.
