Looking across Mill Street at its junction with Parkgate Road. On the old black and white pole there is an interesting sign that states: PROHIBITED ALL VEHICLES EXCEPT HANDCARTS PERAMBULATORS INVALID CARRIAGES AND PEDAL CYCLES UNLESS REQUIRING ACCESS TO PREMISES ON OR ADJACENT TO THE ROAD
