Many farms in this area of light sandy soils specialize in the production of potatoes and many sell some of their crop directly to the public. What makes this a uniquely Ulster sign are the words "No Sunday Business". The Sabbath still means a lot to many people in Northern Ireland on both sides of the cultural divide. Kerrs Pinks accounts for about 25% of Ireland's potato crop.
