Blakers Park is a well-loved and well-used community space in the Fiveways area of Brighton. Sir John George Blaker donated the park to the people of Brighton in 1893. Blaker later served as Mayor of Brighton 1895-98 and became the first Baron of Brighton in 1919. http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/index.cfm?request=c1175794
