An interesting sequence of buildings on the south side of the road. The first, at number 22, is described at http://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/download/1702/old_devonshire_road_ca_appraisal_and_management_strategy as "redbrick, Gothic-style hall with arched doorways dating from the very late Victorian period". Then comes an older three-storey cottage, followed by the late Victorian Balham Pentecostal Church.
