The pinkish building in the foreground is a hotel development - Plas Dinorwig - within the Felinheli Marina complex. On the opposite shore of Afon Menai is the old tavern at Moel-y-don, once the landing place of the popular Moel-y-don ferry, and Llanedwen Church.
