Across a track which according to the 1940s map was at that time was a lane leading to Sidenkales Farm. The farm has now disappeared beneath the slick buildings of the business park (the leisure centre I think). This section of the track is now marked as a footpath leading north for a short way to turn to the west toward Illshaw Heath. The OS map has not yet caught up with that and does not show a right-of-way here.
