Viewed from the bridge near Delamere Station, these three 42 inch (approximately 107 cm) diameter pipes carry 50 million gallons (approx 227 million litres) of water per day nearly 80 miles from Lake Vyrnwy in Wales to the Prescot Reservoir near Liverpool.
