Cottage at Sandyhills

A cottage, (presently a holiday let) on the north side of the A710 which is seen passing in front of the building. (Note: OS maps at 1:50 000 and 1:25 000 disagree slightly here. The Landranger suggests that the building is just in square NX8855 but the Explorer places it certainly in NX8955. Further evidence that the building is indeed in NX8955 comes from 'Benchmarks' website. The east gable end of the cottage, (right in the photograph), has the OS. flush bracket 11829 which 'Benchmarks' places at NX 8904 5531 which would have the FB something of the order of 40m inside square NX8955; that would place the entire building in the same square.)
