Welcome to the Robins at Stede Court, a magnificent property set in Kent in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, available to rent as a self-catering accommodation for a maximum of 16 people. Due to its location on the crest of the North Downs, it offers tremendous views across the Weald of Kent and onwards to Sussex. Its architectural style reflects its history going back to the 16th century with Tudor, Victorian and mainly Georgian characteristics. The history of Stede Court Estate dates back to the 15th century, to Richard Stede who died in 1479. The property remained in the Stede family for some 200 years before passing to WH Turner in 1735. There have been several subsequent owners including Robert Goodsall who bought the house in 1935 and wrote a book about the house called “Stede Hill, The Annals of a Kentish Home”. It is today the weekend and holiday house of the current owners.
