The old, narrow stone bridge over the Afon Cleddau is bypassed by the concrete bridge carrying the A40 road on the right, leaving this neat, quiet village free of the traffic between Haverfordwest and Fishguard. Strictly speaking, this lower part of the village is named Ford.
