Image: © Roger D Kidd Taken: 1 Aug 1972

Westerdale Hall was built as a very substantial early Victorian shooting lodge. From 1947 to 1992 it was a popular youth hostel, but was closed and is now a private residence. The 1972 transparency has been rescanned with a Plustek 8200i SE scanner at 3200dpi. The original test image was from a Kodachrome colour transparency, scanned with an Epson Perfection 3170 flatbed scanner at 2400dpi.
