Passing Stort Motors on South Street. The Young Farmers float (I think), a combine harvester towed by a giant caterpillar. The carnival is always held in June but, from the coats the onlookers are wearing, this was not a hot day. The photo was taken from an upstairs window at what was then the Swan Restaurant.
