The name of the field according to the 1838 tithe map. The area bounded by Jackies Lane and the modern A272 had its old field system obliterated during the 19th century by the owners of Reedens who turned it into a small park. However, by the early 20th century hedges had returned and the land appeared to have returned to pastural use. The field takes its name from an old Zion Chapel which lay just across the parish boundary in Newick.
