Another reminder of the important place Hackney Wick occupies in industrial history. The sign high up on the former Lion Works in White Post Lane recalls the entrepreneur Achilles Serre, who introduced dry-cleaning to Great Britain. The Lion Works building now is the home to artists' studios.
